Dresden, Germany - 2002
Lighting designer Gert Hof designed the lighting concept for the very famous Semper Opera House and the square in which it stands, which is considered one of the finest in Europe. Fifty Space Cannon luminaires were installed on the three portals, providing the highest light output in the world with 7000W. The installation also included a further 3,000 lighting systems. 100,000 spectators and a television audience of 500,000 (over 400 TV networks from all over the world).
