A spectacular pyrotechnic and lighting display against the unique background of the port of Piraeus opened the celebrations for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. The light beams of the lighting architecture towered in the sky up to a height of 35 km and could be seen even from the capital Athens. Lighting designer: Gert Hof.
