Space Cannon illuminates the entrance fountain in Lignano Sabbiadoro with Aquarius, a 40W underwater LED spotlight. 102 projectors were positioned inside the fountain, with diameter of 56 metres , at the water jets.
The spotlights were connected to an external Space Composer DMX unit for parallel control of the colours and lighting shows. For this particular installation, lighting effects were designed to synchronise with the flow of water. The programs were previously stored in the control unit.
Thanks to the lively water jets and vivacious colours, a fascinating and evocative display could be created. The taller water jets, which reach a height of 8 metres , were illuminated by two projectors to achieve a "flame effectâ€, with one colour for the first half of the jet and another for the top.
The Aquarius projector was mounted on bracket arm with manual orientation and can therefore be directed easily towards the target to be illuminated. The 28 LED collimators ensure high precision of the light beam.
