In December, Massimo Moratti from our technical department went to Russia to assist an important Moscow-based building company, SeverStroy-Komplekt Ltd, with many projects in northern Russia . During his stay, he was accompanied by the lighting designer Alec Iliev to Yugorsk, a small town situated 2300 km north west of Moscow, in Siberia.
The aim of his visit was to control the state of installation of the lighting project for the new commercial offices of SeverStroy-Komplekt which includes Space Cannon projectors, installation of which began on 21 November. The first phase and connection of the power units and control cables ended towards the end of November.
Moratti's presence on site was requested for the final phase of the installation process which includes control of the opening of the beam, synchronisation, and programming of different scenes. The luminaires used for this project were a number of 1200W Oberon, 3000W Titan and 7000W Leukos models, which are currently functioning at the extreme temperature of -25°C .
