“Tribute in Light”
New York, September 11, 2009. Memorial for the victims of 9/11
The “Tribute in Light” is a mighty lighting installation at Ground Zero, which commemorates the events of September 11, 2001. For the eighth time in succession, Space Cannon has replicated the contours of the twin towers and in so doing created a shining memorial for the victims and for the once prominent landmark. Two groups of 44 7000W LEUKOS floodlights are used to stage the pillars of light against the New York skyline.
